B. The Liability of Management
The group is obliged to maintain and monitor the trees and provide updated photos and conditions of the adopted tree once every 6 months to the caregiver.
The group is obliged to inform the caregiver when the adoption period has ended, informing at least one month before the contract will be terminated.
The management group is obligated to post the caregiver’s name and description of the tree in the form of signage to be posted on the foster tree. Nameplate format:
The management group is obligated to give certificate(s) as a tribute to caregivers. Certificate form like the following:
C. The Rights of the Caregiver:
Caregiver is entitled to a certificate of tree adoption.
Caregiver has a right to information from the tree management group based on the information that is updated once every 6 months.
Caregiver has the right to extend or terminate the contract of tree adoption when the initial period is over.
D. The LIABILITY of the Caregiver:
Caregiver shall provide personal information.
Caregiver is obliged to pay a donation fee to the management group of the customary forest.
E. The Rules of Tree Adoption:
If the tree is damaged or dies due to natural factors during the adoption period, the group will notify the caregiver and will offer another tree as its replacement to complete the remaining period of custody. On the other hand, if the caregiver is not interested with the offer of the management group, the remaining adoption term will be canceled. In this case, the remaining funds for tree care are not refundable.
The cost of tree adoption can be transferred through the accounts of the caretakers as follows or paid directly to the group manager.
Funds obtained from the tree donations will be utilized for:
Operational Group of the Rantau Kermas customary forest.
Enrichment plants in the customary forest.
Community social activities.
Other activities that balance economic functions and conservation of customary forest.
Distribution of donated trees custody as follows:
Customary Forest Management group: 25%
Other villagers in Rantau Kermas: 75%
Transparency mechanism
Revenues and expenditures of the donation will be reported annually in a village meeting attended by the all people in Rantau Kermas village.
The use of the donation funds for public uses (75% of the funds received from the activities) will be discussed at the village level.
